Stephen J. McGarrett (Jack Lord), Dan Williams (James MacArthur), Kono Kalakaua (Zulu), Chin Ho Kelly (Kam Fong), Duke Lukela (Herman Wedemeyer) and Ben Kokua (Al Harrington) were all getting ready to go home after a long day at the Five-0 offices. Danny said, “I’m ready to go home and take a long night’s sleep.” McGarrett replied, “Can’t blame ya, Danno.”
The next day, Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane, of Hazzard County who was kicked out with Boss Hogg, was chasing Bo Duke through the roads of Honolulu, treating like it was the roads of Hazzard County. All of the sudden, there was a parked car in front of him. He jumped but all of the sudden, the General Lee flipped over and landed on the roof, killing Bo instantly. Boss said, “Rosco, stop the car! Stop the car!! Bo wrecked.” Rosco pulled the car over and Boss ran over to Bo. He felt his neck to see if Bo had a pulse, he didn’t. “Rosco!!! Get McGarrett on the radio and tell him what happened!!” Rosco got on the radio and said, “This is Sheriff Roscooooooooo P. Coltrane calling Steve McGarrett. Come in, please.” McGarrett picked up his phone and said, “This is McGarrett. What’s up, Rosco?” Rosco told McGarrett the entire story. He told Danno, “Danny, I want you to get the county coroner to where Bo’s wreck is. Kono, you, Chin, Duke and Ben go to the accident site and ask Rosco Coltrane and J.D. Hogg what happened and bring them in. I’ll go tell Daisy what happened.” So, McGarrett went to room 131 at the Kahala Hilton where Daisy was staying. He knocked on the door and said, “Daisy? You in there?” Daisy opened her door and replied, “Steve! What’s wrong?” McGarrett came in and said, “Daisy, I don’t know how to tell you this but Rosco and J.D. were chasing Bo, he jumped a parked car but the car flipped and landed on the roof. He was killed instantly.” Daisy couldn’t believe that her cousin, Bo Duke, was dead. She got tears in her and McGarrett put his arm around her waist. He said, “Easy, easy.” And she replied, “I can’t believe he’s dead.”
Back at the scene of the wreck, Danno asked, “Mr. Hogg, Mr. Coltrane, could you please, for the record, tell us what happened.” “Well, we were chasing Bo just for fun when he jumped over a parked car. That orange clunker car flipped and landed on the roof.” Kono told Boss, “Mr. Hogg, McGarrett wants us to bring you and Mr. Coltrane to ask you a few questions.” Boss and Rosco nodded their heads and left with them. Back at the Kahala Hilton, McGarrett and Daisy were still in her room. She just couldn’t believe that Bo was dead. So now, Uncle Jesse and Bo were both gone. She told McGarrett, “Steve, do you realize that now both my Uncle Jesse and Bo are now gone. The only 3 Dukes left alive is me, Luke and the General Lee.” “I know how you feel, Daisy. My father was killed when I was only 13. My mother died when I was 16,” replied McGarrett. He knew how Daisy felt. He also said, “Why don’t you come back my office with me and we’ll get the final arrangements set?” Daisy smiled and they went in his car. On the CB radio, Dan said, “Williams calling McGarrett. Williams calling McGarrett. Come in car one. Williams calling McGarrett. Come in car one.” McGarrett picked up his CB and responded, “This is McGarrett. Anything?” “Yeah. Boss and Rosco told us what happened and we’re taking them back to office,” replied Dan.
In McGarrett’s office, Rosco told McGarrett, “We’ve told at least 5 officers the same dang story. The General Lee flipped on its roof and Bo was killed instantly.” McGarrett replied, “Let me tell you something, J.D., we don’t know if it was an accident or you made Bo Duke wreck and get killed on purpose.” “Steve? May I use your phone to call the Honolulu County Funeral Home?” McGarrett nodded his head and she picked up the phone. She said, “Honolulu Funeral Home? This is Daisy Duke. I would like to make funeral arrangements for my cousin Bo Duke.” The person at the funeral home replied, “Daisy Duke? Okay. What time would you like the funeral? The best day and time we can have the funeral is April 13th at 6:00 – 8:00, if that’s fine with you?” “April 13th’s just fine. Mahalo and aloha,” replied Daisy and hung up the phone.
Meanwhile, Luke Duke, Wo Fat, Margo Cooper, Captain von Trapp (Christopher Plummer), his wife Marie (Julie Andrews), Sheriff Ed Little (Don Pedro Colley), of Chickasaw, Cassius Claibourne (Morgan Woodward) of Osage County and Sheriff Emmitt ‘Spike’ Loomis heard about Bo Duke’s sudden, unexpected death. They immediately booked a flight to Honolulu. It was April 13th; 6:00pm and Bo’s funeral began. McGarrett stayed next to Daisy the whole time. Her and Steve decided to go for a walk while everyone else was talking. She said, “Mahalo for staying with me, Steve. I never thought I’d be going my own cousin’s funeral. I hope don’t go ahead and commit suicide.” All the sudden, there was the sound of a gunshot. McGarrett and Daisy ran in and found Luke, dead, by Bo’s coffin. Daisy ran over and broke down. Daisy could not believe that right there in the funeral home, Bo and Luke Duke aka the Duke Boys were dead. She began to cry hard and McGarrett went over, bent down and pulled her into a tight hug, “Easy, easy. Come on, let’s go outside.”
Meanwhile, Rosco and Boss heard about the news of Luke Duke committing suicide at Bo Duke’s funeral. Boss responded, “My, I never thought that Luke would commit suicide at one of the Duke Boys’ funeral. Daisy’s gonna have a rough time.” Rosco replied, “Boss, ain’t there something we could do for Daisy? There has to be something?” Boss just shrugged his shoulders. Back at the funeral home, Daisy and McGarrett were outside. Daisy asked, “Can I call you Stephen?” “Yes, you can.” She also said, “Stephen, this is just not my day. I don’t know what to do. Bo’s gone, Luke’s gone and Uncle Jesse’s gone. The only Dukes alive now is me and the General Lee plus Cooter.” McGarrett told Daisy since she has a room at the Kahala Hilton, she could live with him. She was so happy that he let her live with him. She said, “Thanks, Steve. The next few days will be kind of hard for me. I hope it won’t bother you any.” “It won’t bother me at all. I can’t blame you for being down a couple of days,” responded McGarrett, smiling. They stared at each other for a couple of minutes. McGarrett smiled at her, put his hands on her face, leaned forward slowly and gave her a deep kiss.
Part II of Dream:
Margo Cooper (Carol Lawrence) had came to Honolulu to rekindle their relationship. Margo heard about the death of Bo & Luke Duke. She knew that Daisy was McGarrett’s girlfriend and she decided since Daisy was able to stay here in Hawaii with McGarrett, Margo made a decision that she was going to get a job as a newspaper writer here in Honolulu to leave and let Daisy be his girlfriend and take care of Stephen. She called Central Dispatch and she wanted to talk to McGarrett. “This is Margo Cooper calling Central Dispatch. This is Margo Cooper calling Central Dispatch.” “This is Central, go ahead Miss Cooper,” replied Anna. “This is Central calling Steve McGarrett. Central calling Steve McGarrett. Come in car one.”
McGarrett answered the CB and said, “This is McGarrett.” “Steve? It’s Margo. I have made a decision,” replied Margo. “Yes?” asked McGarrett, worrying. “I’m going to get a job as a newspaper writer here in Honolulu to leave and let Daisy be his girlfriend and take care of you.” “Are you sure, Margo?” “Yes, Steve, I’m sure.” Steve and Margo hung up their phones at the same time. She couldn’t believe she made that decision but she did.
Daisy asked, “Was that Margo?” “Yes, Daisy. She’s made a decision that she’s going to the mainland to get a job so you can be my girlfriend,” responded Steve. Margo didn’t mind nor did Steve.

My Hawaii Five-0 Dream (cont…)
It’s been at least a month since Bo and Luke’s death. Margo was getting ready to leave for the mainland and now Daisy Duke was finally McGarrett’s girlfriend. Now, McGarrett put Dan in charge of Five-0 while McGarrett was out with Daisy. Dan, Kono, Chin, Duke and Ben were figuring out if J.D. and Rosco were the cause of Bo’s death. They knew Luke’s death was a suicide so that ruled his death out. Kono was thinking about the day the wreck happened and the way they were acting. He said, “You know what? You guys remember the day of the wreck when we questioned J.D. and Rosco? They were acting pretty funny.” Dan remembered how nervous Boss & Rosco seemed to be. “Boss said he was tired of telling the same story. We all know how Rosco is.” He ordered Kono, “Go and pick up Boss and Rosco. We’ll put the pressure on both of them. I better call McGarrett and tell him what’s going on.”
Meanwhile, Margo was at the airport ready to leave for the mainland when McGarrett came running and said, “Margo, stay with me and Daisy. I don’t want you to leave.” Margo was so happy that she was staying with McGarrett and Daisy. Steve gave Margo the deepest kiss he’s ever given a girl. Back at McGarrett’s car, Dan was calling on the radio. “Williams calling McGarrett. Williams calling McGarrett. Come in car one. Williams calling McGarrett. Come in car one.” Daisy picked up the CB and said:
Daisy: This is Daisy Duke. Come in. Over?
Dan: Daisy, where’s Steve?
Daisy: At the airport, picking up Margo. Why?
Dan: Well, Ben has a gut feeling about J.D., Rosco and Bo’s wreck. Could you please tell him for me?
Daisy: Sure. Over and out.
Daisy hung up the CB. Margo & McGarrett were walking with their arms around each other’s waist and Daisy said, “Steve? Danny just called on the radio. He said that Ben has a gut feeling about Boss Hogg, Rosco and Bo’s wreck.” So, McGarrett, Margo and Daisy got into McGarrett’s *car and left for the ‘Iolani Palace.
Meanwhile, Ben picked up J.D. and Rosco. They got back to McGarrett’s office. Inside his office, J.D and Rosco were raving mad about being questioned again. “THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! WE’VE BEEN QUESTIONED AT LEAST 3 MILLION TIMES,” yelled Boss Hogg, who was furious.
The big black Mercury pulled into Steve’s parking space. All of the way outside, they could hear Boss yelling. Daisy responded, “That’s Boss alright.” They got in McGarrett’s office and Steve interrupted Boss, “J.D., what in the good Lord are you yelling about in here?” “I’m yelling because everyone keeping lording over me that I had something to do with Bo Duke’s death,” replied Boss, furiously. McGarrett asked Ben, “Danno said you had a gut feeling. Tell J.D. what your gut feeling was.”
Ben began, “My gut feeling that I had and still do tells me that when we first questioned you, you seemed nervous and also kept calling the Duke Boys’ car, the ‘General’ or ‘that orange clunker of a car’.” Rosco interrupted, “Listen here, Mr. Kokua, Mr. McGarrett, Boss here has always called the General Lee an orange clunker of a car, which it is, and he did NOT cause Bo Duke’s wreck.” “Excuse me, Mr. Coltrane, I think Ben was talking. Go ahead Ben. I’m sorry for Rosco’s interruption.” Ben continued, “If you were nervous when we first asked you, maybe you were shaken up by Mr. Duke’s death or you are guilty of causing his wreck.” McGarrett said, “I’ll make sure you’ll be sent to Oahu State Prison for life. Now get out!” Boss replied as him and Rosco were leaving, “I’ll prove it to you that I didn’t do it!”
Dan: Question, Steve.
McGarrett: Go.
Dan: Do you really think J.D. and Rosco caused Bo Duke’s wreck?
McGarrett: Maybe. Listen to this.
(Presses ‘play’ on tape recorder)
J.D. (on tape, nervously): Well, we were chasing Bo Duke in the General Lee then he jumped a parked car. That orange clunker of a car flipped and landed on its roof.
(Stops tape)
McGarrett: As you all hear, J.D. seems real nervous. Now, Rosco didn’t talk at all ‘cause he refused. You can tell they are guilty. That answer your question?
Dan: Yeah.
In the middle of my dream, J.D. and Rosco were both guilty of murdering Bo Duke with voluntary manslaughter by a vehicle.
Jefferson Davis Hogg and Rosco Purvis Coltrane VS the State of Hawaii
Judge Stephen Wood: Mr. Hogg, Mr. Coltrane, you were arrested on the charge of voluntary manslaughter with a vehicle by Mr. Stephen J. McGarrett of the Hawaii Five-0 State Police Department, correct?
J.D.: That’s correct, your honor.
Judge: Would Mr. McGarrett please come to the stand?
(McGarrett goes up)
Judge: State your full name.
McGarrett: Stephen Jack McGarrett.
Judge: Would you please tell the court what the Five-0 said what happened on the day of the wreck.
McGarrett: On the day of Bo Duke’s wreck and his death, Mr. Hogg said that they were chasing Mr. Duke through Honolulu and then the General Lee apparently flipped and then landed on its roof.
Judge: Okay. Thank you, Mr. McGarrett.
John Manicote: Your Honor, the defendant does not have any witnesses.
Judge: Okay, Mr. Manicote. I now call Mr. Rosco P. Coltrane to the stand.
(Rosco goes to stand)
Judge: Please state your full name.
Rosco: Rosco Purvis Coltrane.
Judge: Mr. Coltrane, we need the truth about what happened the day of the wreck.
Rosco: Here’s what happened. Mr. Hogg and I were chasing Bo Duke through Honolulu, Hawaii, Then Bo jumped over a parked car but in mid-air the General Lee, it was doing a nose-dive but the General flipped and landed on the roof.
Judge: Thank you, Mr. Coltrane. Now, we got a review of the scene from the Five-0 and it says that Mr. Hogg and Mr. Coltrane were making the General Lee go at one hundred-twenty miles per hour when they knew that the General Lee could not go that fast without the radiator blowing up.
McGarrett: Your honor. May I ask Mr. Hogg and Mr. Coltrane something?
Judge: Yes, you may.
McGarrett: Rosco, J.D., if you knew the General’s radiator blew up when it would do a jump then how come you made Bo Duke jump the car?
J.D: Well, well, all right! All right! Fine! Rosco and I are guilty of voluntary manslaughter with a vehicle.
Judge: This is a first. Mr. McGarrett? I’m ordering you to take Mr. Hogg and Mr. Coltrane to Oahu State Prison. Rosco Purvis Coltrane and Jefferson Davis Hogg, you are sentenced to life without parole.
The trial of Boss Hogg and Rosco were over. Margo was really happy that she was living with McGarrett and Daisy was happy that Margo said that it was her turn to be his girlfriend and take care of him.
Daisy: I cannot believe that Boss and Rosco actually confessed to voluntary manslaughter.
McGarrett: Me too. I know that J.D. never confessed to anything.
Daisy: Yeah.
Margo: Daisy, may I talk to you in private?
Daisy: Sure, Margo. What’s wrong?
Margo: Well…
Daisy:…if it’s about Steve and I, I understand.
Margo:…it’s not about you and Steve. It’s about me. Daisy, I’m pregnant and guess who the father is.
Daisy: Who?
Margo: Danny. He doesn’t know it and I want to tell him but I’m afraid.
Daisy: Since he’s going back to his office, why don’t you tell him before he leaves?
Margo: Okay. I’ll tell him. Steve? I have to tell you something.
McGarrett: Sure, what is it?
Margo: Steve, I’m pregnant and guess who the father is?
McGarrett: Who?
Margo: ….Danny Williams.
McGarrett: Danno?
Margo: Yeah. Remember that girl that he was going out with when you and I broke up?
McGarrett: Yeah.
Margo: Well, that was me.
McGarrett: Oh.
Margo: You ain’t mad are you?
McGarrett: No, I am not. I want to say congratulations.
Margo: Mahalo. I better call him and tell him.
McGarrett: I’ll tell him when I go back to my office or you both can come with me.
Margo: We’ll come with you.
(McGarrett’s Office)
McGarrett: Danno, come in my office for a minute, please.
Danno: Sure, Steve. What is it?
(McGarrett closes door)
McGarrett: Danny, Margo has to tell you something.
Danno: What’s wrong, Margo?
Margo: Well, I must tell you that I’m pregnant and you’re the father.
(Danny is in complete shock)
McGarrett: Are you okay, bruddah?
(Danny isn’t saying a word)
McGarrett: Danno, come outside with me for a minute.
(McGarrett and Danno go on balcony outside McGarrett’s office)
Danny: Steve, I’m shocked. I can’t believe Margo’s pregnant with my baby.
McGarrett: Danno, if you and Margo need anything, call me anytime.
Danny: Thanks, Steve. I’m just nervous that Margo’s having a baby and I’ve never been a father.
McGarrett: I know how you feel.
Danny: Steve, if Daisy ever gets pregnant, I’ll help you and Daisy since you’re helping Margo and I.
McGarrett: Mahalo, bruddah. Let’s go back in.
(9 months later)
Margo: Call Steve and Daisy and tell them about the baby dying. They would probably want to know.
Danno: Okay.
(Picks up phone)
(McGarrett and Daisy are in his office. He’s sitting on his couch, she’s lying on his lap and they are kissing. His phone rings)
McGarrett: Excuse me, sweetheart. McGarrett. Hi, Danno.
Danno: Steve, I got some bad news. When the baby came out, the baby was a stillborn. He died in her stomach and she didn’t know it. We’re at the Island Hospital.
McGarrett: Oh, my Lord. Okay. We’ll be there.
(Hangs up phone)
