Sadly to say that on January 21, 1998, Jack Lord passed away at age 77 from congestive heart failure in his Honolulu home. I was so devestated to hear about it. How did everyone feel when the news of his death was in the newspaper?

I couldn't believe it! I knew he had been ill, but was so sad when he died! He was my biggest crush as a teenager...and I wasn't one to have crushes on stars.

It really was sad. I was only 7 yrs. old when he died. When my mom told me, I couldn't believe it!

I remember hearing about his being sick, and his death too.
