In 1980, Bix's ex-wife, actress Brenda Benet, was cast as psychic Annie Kaplan in the episode, "The Psychic". She, in the episode, would forsee the death of Jack McGee. She has visions of David and knows who he really is. Bix, nor Brenda, did not know it but this would be the last time they worked together. Brenda, age 36, committed suicide in her bathroom of her LA home in 1982.
