In 1978, actress/friend of Bix, Mariette Hartley, was cast as Banner's 2nd wife in the 2nd season premiere movie, "Married", Mariette would play hypnotherapist, Dr. Carolyn Fields, who had a condition of her own, and would become Banner's 2nd wife and she, unfortunately, dies and leaves Banner, once again, a widow. After working with Bix, she and him became friends and she named him her favorite actor
