Bodybuilder and unknown actor, Lou Ferrigno, was cast as Banner's alter-ego, "The Incredible Hulk." When Banner, many times throughout the series, would become angry or outraged, he would turn into a green-hulking creature. Bix and Lou were rarely in scenes together except in the episodes "Married" (when David was under hypnosis) and in "King of Beach" when Ferrigno played bodybuilder, Carl Molino.
