Actress Brenda Benet, former wife of actor Bill Bixby, has died at the age of 36 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Benet divorced Bill in 1980 and her son, Christopher Bixby, died in 1981. She was suffering from depression.
*After Brenda died, Bill went into complete depression and almost overdoses on drugs to kill himself.
